Indoprix Round 5 Underbone 125cc Race, Balipat-Binuang, Kalimantan Selatan 2009

A bittersweet finale for Denny Triyugo when he lost the opportunity to win the National Championship in Underbone 125cc class (IP-2) . Hokky Krisdianto finish on  the podium, second-spot in both 2 races. Yudhistira is the winner in IP-2. However Denny Triyugo still made a great  achievement, his final position is 3rd in National Championship standings. And Hokky is the runner-up in this IP-2 class (overall)

In the first race of IP-2, Denny with a strong start from the 5th-grid and immediately moved up to third place, unfortunately in lap-7 he collided with M. Nurgianto (Honda-Banten). But Denny was able to restart his machine to continue the race.

Hokky Krisdianto was at third position, he managed to overtake Florianus Roy at second. spot Hokky maintained his position until the end of the race. The tight race with Florianus Roy from beginning race cost him so much time, it was impossible to catch Yudhistira at the leading.

In second race, once again Denny made an error at a tight corner and crashed, he was able to continue the race  at 14th place. and keep on pushing before  an engine failure forced him to retired. This time Denny was unable to finish the race. Another double podium for Hokky Krisdianto, who has finish in second spot in both races.

“All weekend I always had some problems here and there, I didn’t have 100% confidence. I had a great year with fantastic team that always provides me with good bikes. I thank my whole team and sponsor. Yudhistira has been such a strong rival in this circuit, and I'm sure he will always remain strong in this circuit,” said Denny.

“This IP-2 races was very difficult. I didn’t have enough point to catch championship leader (Yudhistira), because some errors in earlier round. this year. But I'm glad to be the Runner-Up of IP-2 this year which is not so bad " Hokky said.
