ASIA ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP 2001 Rd2, SENTUL INDONESIA

Indonesia underbone riders should be happy to celebrate podium in his own country, without giving a chance to foreign riders to reach the podium at Asia Road Racing Championship in Sentul (12/06).
Unfortunately at the underbone class competition quite tight, especially with the presence of some wild card riders. As Hokky Krisdianto, Anggi Permana, Owie Nurhuda, and Rey Ratukore. Who is also a serious rival for both of Star Racing riders.

Denny and Sudarmono struggle in first race does not produce enough good acquisition. Denny must be satisfied with 6 position and Sudarmono in 7 position.

In second race Denny did not want to give up, struggle and finally  produce second podium. Denny get points and roost into 4th position Rider Championship. Unfortunately success wasn't followed by Sudarmono that in second race only finish in 11th position.

"The competition very tight until finally I could finish in the order of 6th. Fortunate in second race I could follow my opponents and successfully stepped to second podium. I am very satisfied with the results of race 2, and hoping able to catch up from Rafid who currently resides at the top of the point standings," explained Denny Triyugo.

"I have a good position in race 1, unfortunately Gupito Krishna made a mistake at turn 5. I'm right behind Gupito should reduce the speed. I lost the engine power until eventually finished at 7th position. Lucky did not side with me, in second race I having problems with the engine, finally my position slipped to 11th at finish line," complained Sudarmono.
